  • KELECHI OMEJE
    | Gender: Female | Year of Birth: 2011 | Diagnosed of gangrene 15th Feb, 2011.
    Amputated 18th of April, 2011.
    Today, Kelechi can walk, stand, jump...living a full and functional life.
  • ISAAC OSUMAH
    | Gender: Male | Age: 6years | Born 16th of June 2009
    with Congenital Limbs Defect. The Osumah family met
    with The IREDE Foundation in April of 2013
    and a prosthesis was provided him.
    Now, 6 year old energetic Isaac can jump, run
    and play like his age mates.
  • CHIDIEBERE CHIDIOGWU
    | Gender: Female | Age: 10years | Over 80% of the
    right leg amputated after sustaining an injury In 2013,
    Chidiebere was provided with prosthesis and now can walk,
    jump and live a much less dependent life.
  • PROMISE ADEPITAN
    | Gender: Male | Age: 7years | Doctors called for
    an amputation to save Promise’s life after diagnosing gangrene.
    On 10th February 2013, Promise’s left hand was amputated.
    Today, Promise is active enough to pursue his dreams
    of becoming a Medical Doctor.
  • MEDINAT JIMOH
    | Gender: Female | Amputation at age: 2years |
    Medinat was born on the 22nd of June, 2013
    with the bone in her left hand (from elbow to wrist) ‘soft’.
    The stump was properly amputated and treated.
    She was referred to The IREDE Foundation by a doctor
    who understands the imminent damage possible if not helped .
  • CHARLES CHUKWUJEKWU
    | Gender: Male | Age: 10years | Afeez had a fall
    which resulted to a hand injury, and later amputation
    sometime in 2008.
    He was without a left arm
    for about 6 years now but his story has CHANGED
    as he now has his left arm fitted.
  • SEMILORE KOSOKO
    | Gender: Female | Age: 3years | A few days after birth,
    it was discovered that there was a missing
    femur in her right leg.
    The IREDE Foundation provided Semilore with an ortho-prosthesis
    late 2014 and now is fast adjusting to walking and
    playing unaided.
  • OLUSEGUN OLADIPUPO
    | Gender: Male | Amputation at age: 8years
    | Broke his arm in an accident and had it amputated
    when he was 8 years old. Segun is a graduate of
    law from the University of Ilorin but had difficulty getting a job
    due to stigmatization. He was fitted with a prosthetic arm late
    last year and now he can pursue his career feeling 'complete'.
